La RÉUNION

 

There are only two outstanding places such as La Réunion on the whole surface of Planet Earth : Hawaii, most Eastern State of North America, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and La Réunion, most Southern Region of the European Union, in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Because of the diversity of the micro-geography, and most of all the great diversity of cultures found on the island, La Réunion may be truly seen as a small scale model of Planet Earth. Because there were no original natives and all the inhabitants have come from all over the world to live on this large volcano island born from the ocean only 2 million years ago, La Réunion is a precursor model of the future space colonies.

Grand - Bassin, in the heart of the mountains of La Réunion, is the small isolated village where studies are conducted to implement the first operational WPT energy system in the world.
