WPT 2001

Le Programme Scientifique
( en anglais )

Topics :

The emergence of new space politics and technologies, and the urge for new clean and sustainable global energy systems for the benefit of all people on our Planet bring about a new interest for Space Solar Power (SSP), with Wireless Power Transportation (WPT) being one of the key technologies for the SSP systems. But new emerging applications of WPT now also appearing.

WPT'01 covered microwave sources and projecting antenna technologies, rectenna and microwave to DC conversion systems, new SPS concepts, electromagnetic compatibility, frequency allocation and legal issues, biological effects of microwaves, safety and environment issues, non-SPS applications of WPT.
